These terms are short on purpose. By installing or using Localyze.ai, you agree to them. If you don't, please uninstall the app.

1. What Localyze.ai is

Localyze.ai is a private, on-device AI assistant powered by Google's Gemma 3n E4B open-weights model. It is provided as native apps for Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux.

2. License

We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Localyze.ai for any lawful purpose, including personal and commercial use, subject to these terms and the licence of the underlying Gemma model.

3. Your data, your responsibility

Because Localyze.ai stores chats, memories, attachments, and the model file locally on your device, you are responsible for backing them up. We don't have a copy. If your device is wiped, lost, or replaced, that data is gone unless you've exported it.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Localyze.ai to do things that are illegal where you are, to generate content that targets a real identifiable person with sexual or harassing material, or to build automated systems that abuse other people's rights. We don't monitor your usage — please use the assistant responsibly.

5. AI outputs

Outputs from the model can be wrong, biased, or outdated. Verify anything important before acting on it. Localyze.ai is a tool, not professional advice.

6. Subscriptions (if applicable)

Some advanced features may be offered through an optional subscription billed through Google Play or your platform's app store. Pricing, renewal, and cancellation are managed by the store. We never bill you directly.

7. No warranty

Localyze.ai is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the app reliable, but we can't guarantee it will be fault-free or that the model will behave perfectly.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Localyze.ai and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll update the "last updated" date above and surface a notice in the app the next time it launches.
