Privacy Policy

Localyze.ai is a privacy-first AI assistant that provides an on-device assistant powered by Google's open Gemma 3n E4B model. This policy is intentionally short and written in plain English. If anything here doesn't match what the app actually does, email support@stockportfolio.pro and we'll fix it.
Summary
- Core text, image, and audio inference runs locally on your device.
- Your chats, memories, tasks, attachments, and model files are stored locally unless you export or back them up yourself.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not run advertising or analytics SDKs in the app.
- Subscription billing (if you opt in) is handled by Google Play or your platform's app store — never by Stripe or third-party payment trackers.
Data the app may access
Depending on which features you turn on, Localyze.ai may access:
- Microphone audio while you hold the voice input button
- Photos or files that you explicitly pick with system pickers or share into the app
- Contacts (only if you enable the contact-search tool)
- Calendar data (only if you enable calendar features)
- Notification content (only if you enable notification reply drafts)
- Exact alarms (only if you enable reminder features)
- Local app data: chats, memories, tasks, attachments, drafts, backups, and the downloaded model file
How data is handled
1. On-device assistant processing
Localyze.ai runs assistant inference locally on your device. Your prompts, generated responses, selected images, and audio inputs are processed on-device by the local Gemma 3n E4B model for the app's core assistant features.
2. Notification access (optional)
If you enable the notification reply-drafts feature, the app uses your platform's notification listener API to read incoming notification text in order to generate draft replies. This stays entirely on your device. You can disable the feature at any time in Settings and the listener stops collecting notification content.
3. Local storage
The app stores data locally to provide its features. This includes conversations and messages, saved memories and tasks, attachment metadata, downloaded model files and caches, and any local backups or exports you choose to create.
4. Optional network activity
- Model download: the model file is fetched from Hugging Face when you choose to install it.
- Optional web search: if you enable web search, only your explicit query is sent to DuckDuckGo's Instant Answer API. Your chat history is never sent.
- App-store billing: subscription purchase, restore, and entitlement flows go through Google Play / your platform's app store.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your chats, memories, contacts, calendar data, selected images, or audio recordings with the developer's own servers for analytics, advertising, or profiling.
Data is sent to third parties only when needed for a feature you've explicitly chosen to use:
- Hugging Face — for the model download
- DuckDuckGo — for optional web search queries
- Google Play / platform app stores — for billing and purchase management
Permissions
Localyze.ai requests permissions only for features you opt into. You can see the full list, the feature each one enables, and revoke any of them in your device's app settings at any time.
Your choices
- Delete all chats: from Settings → Privacy center.
- Delete all memories: from Settings → Memory.
- Delete the model file: from Settings → Model.
- Export your data: encrypted local export from Settings → Data.
- Uninstall: removes everything Localyze.ai stored on your device.
Children
Localyze.ai is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has installed the app and you'd like guidance, contact us at support@stockportfolio.pro.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the "last updated" date above and surface a notice in the app the next time it launches.
